I'm Cédric Druck, an applied mathematics engineer specialised in optimisation and operations research. For twenty-one years I have worked on new products in young companies, as founder, co-founder or one of the first employees: optimisation, clinical trials, engineering software and, today, applied AI.
What drives me is creating what did not exist yet: a new product, a new tool, a new way to solve a problem, with a client's backing or on my own initiative. Today my main activity is Trialzen, which I co-founded and lead as CEO; Belenox is the company through which I do the rest of that work.
21 years
building software products, since 2005

growth of N-SIDE's pharmaceutical practice in four years
1 year
to build a complete RTSM product at 4G Clinical, from a sketch on a napkin
25+
engineers in the team I helped build at 4G Clinical
What I do
New products, from idea to launch
Turn an idea into a product that works: model the problem, design the architecture, build it, launch it. For a client, or as one of Belenox's own ventures.
Optimisation, simulation and forecasting
Operations research applied to hard planning problems: supply chains, scheduling, resources. Clinical trial supply is my deepest field: it is what Trialzen does, the company I co-founded and run today.
Applied AI
AI agents and tools that do real work, on solid engineering foundations. I also train teams to work this way and speak about it at conferences.
Belenox also runs its own ventures. The first, Belenox Sites, redesigns and maintains the websites of independents, small businesses and organisations in Belgium.

About
Cédric Druck
I have worn every hat a young company needs: developer, architect, project and product manager, support, sales, marketing, team lead and executive. I am also CTO of Mayanfa, where I designed and built the Lighten app end to end. I remain a hands-on leader who can step in wherever I am needed.
I set a high bar for my own work. When I take on a problem, I go deep, and I do not stop until it is solved all the way.
And I never stop learning. Right now that curiosity has a name: AI, which I explore day and night. It has pushed my creativity further than anything before, and I speak about it regularly at conferences.
